============================================================================= REDNECK RAMPAGE MAKEMAP TUTORIAL #1 - Creating those moving pickup trucks By Bruce Hamilton ============================================================================= 1)Begin with a user sector four squares wide by two squares long, using the default grid size. Raise it up from the ground to about chest height, if you were standing in front of it. Place the truck grill (3644) on front, the front side (3647) on both sides, and the hood (3563) on top. Flip them accordingly with the F button, and leave them for the time being. 2)Add the second sector directly behind the first, four squares wide by one square long, again using the default grid size, and raise it up somewhat higher than the first sector. Place the front side (3647) both sides, and flip accordingly with the F button. Define the back wall as first wall, and angle the front down to approximately 45 degrees, then lower the sector until the angled wall meets the hood. Place windshield (3652) on angled surface. 3)Add the next sector, four squares wide by one and one half squares long, press G to move to the next grid size, and raise it up to the same height as the previous sector, this is the roof of the truck. Place the front side (3647) on both sides, and flip accordingly. Place the hood tile on the roof, and rear window tile on back of the sector. 4)Add the fourth and final sector four squares wide by five squares long, and raise it up about half the height of the previous sector. Place the box side (3656) on both sides, place the bumper (3645) on back, and flip them accordingly with the F key. 5)Return to the first sector, and using the arrow keys on the keyboard, scroll the grahics to proper size. Use the arrow keys with the shift key to scroll graphics without sizing them. Adjust sector heights with page up and page down, adjust windshield angles with brackets. Add shade sectors as needed. ============================================================================= bruceh44@
